I Start school tomorrow so I want to share my summer letter to dance…😀. Dear dance,
I wanted to take a moment to share my feelings about you—our relationship is a mix of love and frustration.

First, the love. You are my escape, my voice and my way to express what I can’t put into words. When I dance and teach , I feel free and alive. The excitement of learning and teaching new moves and the joy of performing bring me so much happiness. You remind me why I fell in love with dancing in the first place.

But then there’s the frustration. Sometimes, learning new steps feels really hard. There are days when my body doesn’t want to cooperate, and I doubt myself. The pressure to perform perfectly can make it hard. At times dealing with forces that want to convince me I’m no good enough. Also dealing with my own self-criticism every time I see myself dancing or when I make a mistake.

I also struggle with injuries and feeling tired. Sometimes it feels like I’m fighting against my own body, torn between my passion for you and my limits.

Even with these challenges, I can’t imagine my life without you. You teach me to be strong and to appreciate both the ups and downs. Each struggle makes the happy moments even better, and my love for you keeps growing. You are my voice.

So here I am, recognizing our complicated relationship. I promise to keep dancing through the tough times and to celebrate the joy you bring me as long as God allows me. Thank you for being a part of my life.

Part one - Grief can feel like a relentless storm, where waves of sadness crash over you unexpectedly. It brings a profound sense of loss, leaving you feeling disoriented and vulnerable. Memories flood your mind, mixing joy with sorrow, creating a complex emotions that can be overwhelming.

Part 2 and 3 Building Resilience- Supportive friendships and family can foster resilience, helping individuals find ways to adapt to their loss and eventually move forward.Overall, human connections are vital in navigating grief, providing comfort, understanding, and a sense of community during a profoundly challenging time.

During one of the classes warm up with @danae_dionysios I got to be in the center of the swirl… they do a pretty cool exersice to feel and pass each others energy… I could no help it and hold it, I was feeling everybody else energy.. which it felt so fulfilling, suddenly tears were coming out of my eyes such of positive experience. #energy #danceitalia #thepowerofhumanconnection @danae_dionysios

Today we got to take a class with @komocodance and explore new ways to move…going across the floor under their instruction of finding a character or characteristic of exploring energy in and out of your body creating new shapes. I choose to be a bunny in my story !! And today after dinner as I walked to the store I saw myself.. so I bought me ❤️ thank you @komocodance and @dance_italia what a fun day!!

Amazing teachers and amazing talent people all around. I got to do a partner session with @leighschanfein challenging to match her beautiful lines…. But I’m excited to see the final pics… ❤️
